Pleased be informed that there was a small fire in one of the units in our condominium recently due to an unattended kitchen stove. The neighbour raised the alarm when she saw smoke coming out of the unit and the fire was put out by our technicians and Bomba.
We would like to advise everyone not to leave cooking unattended and keep the kitchen clear of combustibles such as old newspapers. Keep your pot’s handles turned inward so children won’t knock or pull them over the edge of the stove. If the oil catches fire, carefully slide a lid over the pan to smother the flames, then turn off the burner.
Also if your electrical cooker or any other appliance smokes or begins to smell unusual, unplug it immediately and have it repaired.
Your kind co-operation in this matter is much appreciated.
