Who's Who: What side of "Islam is a religion of peace" are they on?

There are a numerous people on the front lines of this question. Many are working hard to inform us of the real threat Islam poses. Others are focused on discrediting those who are concerned and instead promote Islam as "the religion of peace." Below are two tables. The first lists names of individuals and organizations who are involved in warning and informing us about that threat. The second lists those who dismiss the reality of any threat and discredit those who disagree with them.

Individuals and organizations who are working to inform us of the Islamic threat...

Note: There are dozens of other notable individuals and organizations who are attempting to inform America about the dangers of Islam. Some, however, make a distinction between "Islam" and "radical Islam". The difference between these two entities is becoming very fuzzy.

It is not clear from some websites or books whether some individuals or organizations are C or D. Both C and D are indicated in those cases until their position is clarified. It is likely that some listed above who are not at least partly in the "D" category suffer a degree of political correctness/cultural diversity syndrome or fear of retribution of some form.

Key for "Attitude Toward Islamic Doctrine":

A - Believes Islam is benign; a religion of peace; that there are a number of misguided terroritsts that have strayed from true Islam. (if this belief comes from a Muslim - clueless or taqiyya; from a non-Muslim - ignorant)

B - Believes Islam is generally benign; but there are a number Muslims who exaggerate or misapply the teachings of the Qur'an that call for violence, intolerance, supremacism, and hatred of the Infidel, etc.. (from a Muslim - misinformed or taqiyya; from a non-Muslim - misinformed)

C - Believes that there are portions of the Qur'an that do teach violence, intolerance, supremacism, and hatred of the Infidel, etc, and there is a resurgence of historic Islamic thought that is promoting that teaching - but this approach can be reversed through some form of reformation. (from a Muslim - desiring reform; sincere in beliefs, or Taqiyya; from a non-Muslim - partially informed wishful thinking)

D - Believes that the core of the Islamic religion requires violence, intolerance, supremacism, and hatred of the Infidel, etc as a major means of honoring Allah and furthering the Islamic faith. Anything else would not be Islam. (from a Muslim - ready to become an infidel, sincere in beliefs, or Taqiyya; from a non-Muslim - well-informed realist)

Individuals and organizations who dismiss any Islamic threat and discredit those who warn of the threat...

Note: This is a tiny cross-section of individuals or groups that paint Islam in a glowing light. In fact, there are thousands of Muslim notables and their defenders who dismiss or hide any aspect of Islamic doctrine or behaviors that are supremacist, fascist, that advocate terror, conquest, advocate Sharia law, disrespect women, endorse honor killings or killing of infidels. They also work to discredit and marginalize any Islamic expert who brings out the truth of Islam's doctrine, motives, intent, and actions. It is possible that some who appear to be naive defenders of Islam may be so out of a defensive kind of fear. However, this certainly would not apply to Islamic organizations.
