Sharia law

Also known as Islamic law. It is one of the three most common legal systems of the world alongside common law and civil law.[1]

Sharia law has several distinct characteristics:

    • Oppression of women; ultra patriarchal

    • Oppression of unbelievers, also known as infidels: non- Muslims. Three options for infidels:

      • Profess Islamic faith

      • Submit to Islamic taxes and limitations on liberties and common rights as a Dhimmi/Kafir

      • Be terminated

    • Death to Muslims who become an apostate: one who converts to another religion; this is also related to "honor killings."

    • Honor killing - death to family members who humiliate the family such as apostacizing or sexual indiscretion.

    • What the west considers extreme punishment for various crimes, such as cutting off hands for stealing, plucking eyes or removing genitals for infidelity

    • Extreme (psychotic from Westerner's perspective) intolerance of freedom of speech, especially if spoken against Islam, the Qur'am or against Muhammad.
