ACJC will be held at 11am, third floor of UNESP as usual.
We are going to have two talks. One is by Vinicius Busti (see below for title and abstract).
The other one is by Michael Peel concerning results from EDGES about the “cosmic dawn”.
That will be followed by discussion of possible consequences of these results.

Morphology properties of galaxies around galaxy clusters
A halo boundary has been recently found in simulations, which is called the splashback radius. It corresponds to the radius at which accreted matter reaches its first orbital apocenter after turnaround. The existence of such a radius has been corroborated with observations using SDSS and DES data. In this talk, I will present an ongoing project trying to look for other observables around the splashback radius. More specifically, how morphological parameters of galaxies change as a function of the distance of clusters. I will describe the steps to characterize possible systematic errors and close with the perspective of using those measurements to constrain galaxy evolution processes in clusters.
