Auror Tools, Detectors and Transportation

Auror Tools

Auror tools are used by aurors to help enhance there job when out on a mission in search of a dark wizard. The most important tool off course that each and every witch and wizard has is a wand, which will get the job done anytime. Other objects are there to help the auror with better finding, hiding and tracking down a wizard.

Maps:

An important tool to for Aurors to use when they are assigned a case, Aurors will often use a map to track a dark wizard's traces and where they are headed next. There are many types of maps in the wizarding world, and most of which they all give a pretty good accuracy for knowing where someone is at all times.

Enchanted Coins and Communication Owl's

Communication is another important tool for Aurors to keep in contact with other Aurors and the headquarters. Aurors are expected to report their progress at head office, on a regular basis while on a mission. Communication tools such as enchanted coins which tells the auror of updates between the head office. Owl's can also be used for communication although this has proven in the past to not be the most effective use of communication due to intercepting.

Invisibility Cloak

Cloaks are used to hide someone's visibility to others, cloaks are a useful tool to hide someone or something from someones view. Aurors have used cloaks to hide themselves on missions, and has proven to be a very useful tool.

Deluminators and Puter Outers

Deluminators or puter outers are devices that was invented by Albus Dumbledore used to put out a source of light. These tools are important for Aurors when looking to Dark Wizards to help them in concealing any activity around them.

Detectors

Detectors are tools used to help an Auror detect objects, activity and someone when seeking dark wizards. There are several detectors that are used in the wizarding world some are well known to have helped aurors and members of Dumbledore army. We will be learning about detectors useful for Aurors in this lesson.

Probity Probe

Is used to help detect hidden magical items and spells hidden by concealment. They are often used for security at Gringotts bank and can be used to help Aurors in increasing security for Muggles and themselves.

Revealer

This object is very useful in making invisible ink appear out of no where,it is especially useful for Aurors to help them in revealing ink on dark objects and writing.

Secrecy Sensor

Is a dark detector used to detect any dark magic or objects on a person or in a surrounding area. They are like metal detectors in the Muggle world. They are used in the Ministry of Magic and by the Order of the Pheoenix. Aurors use them in helping them enhance in finding dark objects on someone or on something.

Sneakoscope

Is a small glass top that emits that emits shrill noises in the presence of deception. These are specially useful in detecting danger and dark wizards around. They are like revelers in the sense that it signals when danger is ahead and when someone that is suspicious approaches. Aurors use thse often in there haunt for dark wizards, however over the years they have become less effective in detecting who is a dark wizard as there awareness has increased there abilities to hide that from the public.

Transportation

The beauty of our world is the most intriguing and unique ways in which we can travel and get around. As wizards we are able to get around in a variety of ways using magic that muggles would have never otherwise imagined. In this lesson I will be teaching you about the various ways in which Auors use to get around while on mission.

Broomsticks

The most well know of getting around off course is broomsticks, there are many types and speeds which you can purchase to use. Broomsticks is the most widely used transportation within our world. Aurors use broomsticks most of the time when on mission, there are some requirements that an Auror must have a registered and approved broom in order to use it on the job. All aurors receive extensive training in safety and flying strengthening ,during there three years training they will also give a flying exam to receive there approval.

Flying Cars

Flying cars are a form of transportation used to fly instead of driving like muggle cars. These are rarely used with Aurors if at all. They are not the most reliable form of transportation due most impart to the difficulty degree needed to conceal from Muggles.

Floo Powder

Floo Powder is used to transport through a fireplace, leading from one area to another. Wizards use grains of sand to throw in the fire when they are transporting. Floo transportation works through a series of networks all fireplaces are connected to the floo network which is managed by the Ministry of Magic. Aurors often use Floo Powder as a mode of transportation, to communicate and transport within the Auror headquarters. All fireplaces at the headquarters are secretly and strictly monitored to prevent any leaks with the public and Dark Wizards.

Portkeys

Portkeys are used to transport a wizard from one point to another at a set time. Portkeys can be tranformed using any kind of object, by using the portus spell. It can be used to transport anyone who touches.

Apparating/Disaparating

All Aurors must know how to Apparate and Disaparate, as part of training they are required to pass an extra exam on top of there exam they receive to get there license.
