Comparative between Muggle Police and Auror

In this lesson will be looking at some of the similarities and differences between Muggle police and Aurors. This lesson will be a bit of a light fun fact lesson where you will dazle your minds with some delightful information. Let's begin

Similarities and Differences

As we all know muggle police are members of community that are set to protect citizens from criminlas and crimes comminited. Muggle police is similar to Auror because they are both out there to protect and serve their community. Muggle police as with Auror headquarters, also have a police station or office in which they work in which is generally stationed throughout each city and town having its own. Auror headquarters however usually is only one per country or state which is run out of the Ministry of Magic. Muggle police training usually takes about two to three years depending on what area they are training for. One major difference between Auror and Muggle is that Muggle police their are numerous jobs broken down into one such as FBI, Detectives, CSI and so on, so each has its own training. However in Auror their are only two groups of Aurors and Forensic Auror, we will get more into this type of field in Level 3. Their is also the Magical Law Enforcement squad which is similar to muggle police in the wizarding world as they are the ones that enforce magical law as well as protect against magic used on a muggle and underage wizardry we will learn more about the MLEP in level 2!

Aurors and Police officers can work together, however it would only be in dire situations and not frequently, may occur in cases where the safety of both worlds have crossed paths!

Auror training takes three years to complete which is run by the Auror Office, the program is considered very stringent and intense as we have learned throughout the term only few applicants from the best witches or wizards aside from meeting the requirement to become one are accepted into the program. Similarly muggle police programs are in similar length however the acceptance quota is higher which they do not particularly need to meet other requirements aside from school credits/classes to get into the program, it will be determined if the applicant is meant to be a police officer if they complete the program successfully.

This is it for level one content, now its on to your assignment! Good Luck!
