A few days ago, my daughter took her scooter to the garage and asked, 'Daddy, can you come help me?' I asked what she needed. She wanted to find a screwdriver and other tools to assemble a flying scooter, or a flying skate board would be Ok too. She had watched kids' TV shows where children use tools to build things, and there were Paw Patrol characters flying in the sky. She told me, 'The scooter doesn't need to fly very high, just about this high (she gestured with her hand, showing her brother's height). I laughed and said, 'Daddy can't do that. The flying scooters or skate boards in the TV shows aren't real. It's really hard to make one.' My daughter was upset and went over to the shelf to look for tools that she could use to build her flying scooter. She said again, 'Just flying this high would be good enough. Daddy please!' Oh, poor me as her daddy!
