The HARAPEKO method does not focus on what or how much you eat: what’s important is that you experience hunger. So yes, you can continue to eat fruit, sweets, and other snacks. But you must at all times keep the rule that you will not eat anything before having felt hungry for one whole hour. This means that snacking between meals in the morning or in the afternoon is not allowed. There is no way around this rule.

So make a habit of eating sweets or fruit right after your meal, as a dessert. Indulge in eating cake or ice cream as you like! It is best to eat sweets or fruit right after your meal. While you can allow yourself to eat your favorite sweets, you must remember to observe the rule of feeling hungry for one hour before you eat food again. So, of course, if you eat too much dessert after a meal, your next meal may get late. If you eat too many sweets after breakfast, you may not be able to eat lunch, or if you eat too much fruit for dessert at lunchtime, you may not be able to eat dinner.
