The HARAPEKO method:

An easy and carefree way to lose weight

Thank you for visiting my website which introduces the HARAPEKO method for losing weight. I am Dr. Toshiyuki Kudoh, practicing internist and head of the Office of Internal Medicine at Kudo Clinic in Eniwa City, Hokkado, Japan.

In my daily practice, I recommend the HARAPEKO method to people with a body mass index (BMI) higher than BMI25. HARAPEKO means “very hungry” or “starving” in Japanese. However, that doesn’t mean that you will be starving. The HARAPEKO method is really an extremely simple way to lose weight. There is only one single rule that must be observed: Wait for one full hour after feeling hungry before you eat again.

The following are the main features of the HARAPEKO method:

1. There is no cost, and there is nothing special you need: start today!

2. This is not a radical diet. You will get into shape and feel good.

3. You may think that waiting for an hour on an empty stomach before your next meal is very hard. But waiting will become much easier to bear once the breakdown of your body fat occurs more smoothly as a result of practicing the HARAPEKO method.

4. You can eat whatever you like while shedding weight!

Please read “What you should know before you start at the bottom right of this page before clicking on the link “Introduction” in the left-hand menu.

I wish you much success in losing weight using the HARAPEKO method!

What you should know before you start:

The HARAPEKO method is a method to lose weight targeted at obese people with a body mass index (BMI) that is higher than 25. I believe that the HARAPEKO method is an inexpensive, simple, and safe way to lose weight for obese people. It means enduring “unnecessary and excessive appetite” for one full hour at a time. The method should, however, not be practiced if your BMI is lower than 25, or if you simply wish to go on a beauty diet: if you are a skinny person and practice the method, your appetite necessary for maintaining your weight may be suppressed, and harm may be done to your health. So do check your BMI before starting. If you don’t know your BMI, click on the link “What’s my BMI?” in the left-hand menu.
