dangera.btl

This scenario was adapted directly from the GDW boardgame "Air Superiority" designed by JD Webster.

"Danger Zone, 1986"

"Two F-14 Tomcats are sent to cover a stranded American ship in the Indian Ocean. A group of hostile MiGs come out to interfere. Realizing they're outnumbered, the Tomcats call for help. Before the reinforcements arrive, one Tomcat is shot down and the other is forced to fight off six MiGs alone. The ace arrives in the proverbial nick of time, joining the battle to shoot down three of the MiGs and helping the other Tomcat shoot down a fourth. The last two MiGs flee."

In the movie, the MiGs were supposed to be the new MiG-28. I've substituted the MiG-29 instead, armed with cutting edge air-to-air missiles.

In the movie, the MiGs were supposed to be the new MiG-28. The MiGs were filmed using F-5Es. What if the dogfight took place just as shown in the movie, but instead of F-5s, Maverick and the gang are going against F-20s (which look a lot like F-5s)?
