Powers: Mutant detection; sensing other mutants and their powers. This allows him to track mutants psionically even if they are several miles away, as well as identify their powers and how they work. He is also able to detect the level on which the mutant is able to use their powers as though he had experienced the power on his own. This ability works on any powered being who's ability derived from their genetic make up (such as people who gained their powers through experiments or accidents like Spiderman, or aliens even) though to a far lesser extent.
Power Limitations: He is only able to track one mutant at a time, so he wouldn't be able to ID a group right away. His power, being psionic in nature, can be blocked by telepaths if discovered. Though he might be able to sense other powered beings location, the distance would have to be much closer (a few rooms away), and he wouldn't be able to get a reading on their powers, just the fact they have them.
Hobbies and Interests: He's a very skilled piano player, and practices almost daily if he can help it. He enjoys reading books and often keeps to himself because of it. He also likes to debate and is often engaging classmates in discussions. He dreams to become a lawyer.
Background: Blair is the youngest of five children born to Harrison and Rosemary Green, a wealthy family Boston. He was the second born of a pair of fraternal twins. His father, a very well known Republican Senator, raised him and his sibling in a very strict and demanding environment, though he always provided them with healthy encouragement, wanting that all of his children achieved in life.
This led to the five children trying to impress their parents in an almost competitive way. From an early age, Blair found out he had a talent for the piano, and in spite not really liking music, he worked hard on being the best since he was the only one amongst his siblings to have an artistic talent. This not only worked, but brought him early recognition as he was asked to play in public several times and was making a name for himself amongst the upper class concerto community.
At the age of 14 though, that all changed. During one of his concerts, an Anti Mutant Group attacked and kidnapped him. He was held captive for a week's time upon where he was informed he was a mutant himself with the ability to seek other mutants. Blair refused to believe this, but the group brought a small mutant child to him and he was surprise that he knew what she could do.
They killed the girl in front of him and threatened to do the same if he didn't ID mutants for them to locate. He refused at first, but after some abuse and more threats, he was about to caved when the X-Men, Hellion, Psy-Girl and Vortex came in to save him.
After that, there was a bit of a media scandal that his father had to put out in order to keep his mutant identity as much of a secret, but it eventually got leaked. He felt he disappointed his parents and didn't believe them when they said they still loved him the same. This was reinforced when a month later, his parents offered him to enroll him in a Mutant School in Seattle that was run by the X-Men that had saved him. They claimed it was for his safety though and due to his guilt over his father public backslash, he decided to accept. Upon enrolling, he found himself immediately uncomfortable among kids with powers and kids who looked like freaks to him. Though he tried to be polite, most did notice he was keeping his distance. It was also hard to prove himself as a mutant given how passive his power was essentially, but this all did change during a training session where he was asked to identify the use of his entire group's power and he did it with a variety of details that their own users weren't familiar with. After that he did develop an easier relationship with the students and grew to make some actual friends. He missed home several times and would go as soon as they had any breaks. However, he stopped visiting as often when his father had "advice" him not to attend a public function held in his honor. After the end of the first year, he spent the Summer in Paris, visiting sights and generally trying to forget his problems back in America. It was his first big trip alone so he was pretty happy. He did it with the purpose of spending his birthday by himself, but ended up being surprised by his three sisters coming to visit. At the start of the new semester he grew some animosity towards fellow student Preston, due to an incident where he found himself attractive unknowingly to his female form, though he claimed publicly that it was because the guy couldn't take anything seriously. He took a special delight into informing The Headmistress of his antics, though he tried to be subtle enough for him not to find out. He spent the holidays with his family, and started to act differently towards his parent, getting into a heated discussion with his father about them all being ashamed of him. Personality: Blair is considered to be far too serious for his own good. He's very much by the book and would not really do drastic things unless provoke. He does have his lighter moments and has a soft spot for girls, being raised in a house with three sisters. He is very stubborn about his point of views and sometimes tends to defend it in an almost exaggerated way.
Special Notes: His model is Connor Paolo.
