Ag Sales
Teams will compete in an in-person contest on March 22. This contest is capped at the first 15 schools to register. There is no virtual screener exam in Ag Sales. One team per school.
The purpose of this contest is:
To create interest in the career field of agricultural sales
To have students gain experience and skills essential to the production & marketing of agricultural products.
The objectives are:
To demonstrate basic knowledge of agricultural marketing through an exam (exam questions will come from past national FFA exams)
To demonstrate students ability in making a sale through a sales call
The agricultural sales contest is compatible with the state FFA Agricultural Sales Career Development Event guidelines.
Event Rules:
Multiple choice questions exam.
NO CELL PHONES ALLOWED!
Team size can be four members, and all four members will be scored. But the total of the top three (3) team members will determine the winning team.
Official FFA Dress is Required
Each student should provide their own #2 pencil.
Students must each present three copies of their one-page product summary sheet at the contest location.
Each school may enter one team.
Fox Valley Technical College will follow the 2024 Wisconsin Ag Sales Product Information and Customer (Judge) Scenarios. Note: Students will need to select ONE product and ONE customer scenario.
