Faye was married to Myrtle Augusta Boots in Anamosa Iowa Aug 17 1930.
He was a family man who was interested in hard work and taking care of his family.
Fay worked many jobs in a day , to keep his family fed and clothed.
He worked at JI Case at night and would come home early in the morning to go to
another job at a school in Burlington Ia to start furnace up so the children would be warm.
It is said that sometimes that Fay would come home in the morning and had to pick steal from his hands before going to another job
.
Fay could be a little strict with the children and their mother as far as wanting them to do as they were expected to do.
Fay was a very sick man at times with diabetes, but never let the family know how sick he was.
Fay was blessed with a wonderful family, that he would be proud of if he was living today.
