The eldest son Maathula (മാത്തുള) after finishing his school final joined the Puthenpally (പുത്തൻപള്ളി) Seminary and in time became a priest. He served as a vicar in Vyshymbakka, Veloor, Thakazhi, Kunnuma, Kainkari and such other places. In his old age, due to the compulsions from his relatives he led a retired life in his own parish house of Kavalam Church. He mostly lived and had food with Shouvriyaarachan Ettuparayil (ശൌരൃാരച്ചൻ എട്ടുപറയിൽ) and after the death of Shouvriyaarachan with his son Mavelil Appachan (മാവേലിൽ അപ്പച്ചൻ). He died peacefully in his old age when he was eighty three years old in 1951. He was buried in the eastern side of the Kavalam Church.

Ousepachan (ഔസേപ്പച്ചൻ), the second son of Naduvilekalathil Ousepachan (നടുവിലേക്കളത്തിൽ ഔസേപ്പച്ചൻ), married THU-RU-THEY-THU MARIYAAMMA (തുരുത്തേത്തു മറിയമ്മ) from Vaikom (വൈക്കം) and settled in Naduvilekalam (നടുവിലേക്കളം). He had only one daughter named ROSSAMMA (റോസ്സമ്മ) who was also called KUTTYAMMA (കുട്ടിയമ്മ).

Rossamma (Kuttyamma) was married to KUZHI-YADI-YIL PU-NNOO-CHAN (കുഴിയടിയിൽ പുന്നൂച്ചൻ) from Pulincunnu (പുളിങ്കുന്ന്). They settled in KAVA-LAY-KALAM (കവലേക്കളം) in Kannady (കണ്ണാടി). They had four sons named APPACHAN (അപ്പച്ചൻ) (Fr.K.P.JOSEPH), KUNJAPPAN (കുഞ്ഞപ്), MAATHACHAN (മാത്തച്ചൻ) and TOMMY. They also had five daughters.

Appachan became a Jesuit priest. Kunjappan settled in their estate in Raanni. Maathachan became a doctor and was in the employee of the Kerala Government Health Services. Tommy married Paatathil Kun-ja-mma's (പാട്ടത്തിൽ കുഞ്ചമ്മ) daughter SALLIMMA (സലിമ്മ) and settled in Kavalekalam (കവലേക്കളം) with his mother and family. He had six daughters. Tommichan was a spendthrift and wasted away all the wealth in Kannady that Punnoochan had amassed. He sold all the properties in Kannady and migrated to Changanacherry.

Even though the Naduvilekalam tharavad is in the ownership of the Kavalekalam family, the people who are living there and using the family name are not related to this family. They are landless people who came into ten cents of land each when the land reforms act came into being in 1971. (This was written by N.J.Antony in the early eighties). During the eighties in order to settle Tommichan’s debts everything had to be sold. They settled in Changanacherry after that.

After the death of Naduvilekalam Ousepachan, his widow Mariyaamma and young daughter were taken care by Ettuparayil Shouvriyaarachan. It was under Shouvriyaarachan's guidance that Kuttiyamma (Rossamma) was married to Kuzhiyadiyil Punnoochan. Punnoochan was very strict and miserly, but he was a very shrewd person. He amassed a huge amount of wealth and properties. Once Mariyaamma inadvertently broke an expensive china ware and Punnoochan showed his displeasure by sending his wife and mother-in-law back to Ettuparayil Shouvriyaarachan. Shouvriyaarachan in order to mollify Punnoochan send them both back with a small country boat loaded with china wares. Punnoochan did not like the mother-in-law around the house and so Mariyaamma was mostly in Ettuparayil. Shouvriyaarachan found a solution to this problem by getting Mariyaamma who was still young, married to the AANATHAANAM (ആനത്താനം) family in Kanjirapally (കാഞ്ഞിരപള്ളി).
