Ettuparayil Thommachan's elder son OUSEPACHAN married an heiress THOPPIL ACCHAMMA of Veliyanadu and settled west of Ettuparayil homestead in the property ELAMBRAKOTTU. He had eight children. They were BRIJEETHA, MARIAM, MAAMMI, THOMMAN, KUNCHERIA, KURIEN, CHERIAN and APPACHAN.

Thoppil Acchamma is the daughter of Thoppil Kuriachan's (husband of Chaachi Ettuparayil) younger brother KUNCHERIACHAN. Chaachi is the older sister of Elambrakottu Ousepachan. Thoppil KUNCHERIACHAN had a son and two daughters. The son died when he was a child. The elder daughter ACCHAMMA was married to ELAMBRAKKOTTU OUSEACHAN. The younger daughter was married to Aalinkkara Kondiyoor Kaakkichan from Vaikom.

During the life time of Ousepachan itself the family wealth began depleting. In order to settle debts, they had to sell large tracts of paddy fields and other properties as well. It is a very sad fact that neither Ousepachan nor his children could recoup their losses. Nor could they generate new wealth, other than Cheriachan.

Ousepachan was a kind and simple man. He also was a hardworking man, but misfortune dogged him. He lived to a very old age and on his death, he was laid to rest with his forefathers at the cemetery if Kavalam church.

BRIJEETHA (Eethamma) was married off to KARI-VELI-THARA KURU-VI-LAACHAN of Mambuzhakkari in Kuttandu. They have three children. A son named CHAMBACHAN and two daughters, PENNAMMA and ANNAKUTTY. Brijeethaamma (Eethamma) was the oldest of the 10^th Generation siblings.

CHAMBACHAN married Rossakutty of Kuruvinakunnel family. They had seven children.

1. Kuruvilachan married Lillykutty of Elavunkal family from Pala. They have two children, Lal and Meena. Lal married from Kainakary and Meena was married to Paalakunnel family.

2. Ousepachan married Daisy of Pallickaparambil family from Thodupuzha. They have two children, Reena and Nebu. Reena married from Murikkummootil family. Nebu is a practising lawyer.

3. Thankamma was married to Kurishumattathu Maampally family from Njarackal.

4. Annamma was married to Appachan of Puthumana family from Kappadu, Kanjirapally.

5. Mariamma was married to Chackochan of Manjakunnel family from Perunna, Changanacherry.

6. Kochuthresia became a nun in the CMC Convent. Years later she left the convent and got married. She settled in Trichur.

7. Gracy was married to Joshy of Vallikkaattu family from Kavalam.

PENNAMMA was married to Kuruvilachan of Manjakkaanaparambil family from Udayamperoor. They have three children, Thankappan, Kuruvilachan and Aleykutty.

The elder one Rossamma was married to Kuncherichan son of Pathil Paappoochan of Paattam family from Pulincunnu. The younger daughter Eethamma was married to Maathachan of Paattam family from Pulincunnu.

The second daughter MARIAMMA joined the Holy Cross Convent and became a nun. She took the name Sr. Elizabeth on becoming a nun. She now resides at Marthaandam Convent in South Travancore (1970). Sr. Elizabeth passed away on 3rd July 1976. She spend her last days at the convent in Kottiyam. She was also buried in a tomb there.

MAAMMI (KUTTYAMMA) was married off to VALLI-KATTU, MANGALATHU KURU-VILAACHAN of Kavalam. They have eleven children.

1. Annakutty married to Paapachan of Mundattuchundel family from Poovarni, Koottiyani, Pala.

2. Thresiamma married toPaappachan of Kallivayilil family from Chotti. Thresiamma and children settled in the USA. She died there.

3. Mariyaamma married to Kunjappan of Karimaancherry family from Ezhupunna.

4. Sr. Rossamma became a nun. She is at present at Karis Bhavan at Athirampuzha (2020)

5. Celine married to John of Karimaancherry family from Ezhapunna. They have two children Appu and Itty.

6. Mathew (Matthachan) married Kochuthresia of Kaanjickal family from Pulincunnu.

7. Appachan married Chellamma of Maattel family from Pala. She is a writer and author.

8. Paul has remained unmarried(2020)

9. Johnachan married Rossamma of the Elenjickal family.

10. George (Vakkachan) married Ammini of Karippaparambil family from Povely, Kanjirapally.

11. Xavierkutty married Maya of Vallikkadu, Kuluthungal.

The oldest son N.J.THOMAS (Thommachan) was brilliant in studies, but after his graduation (B.A) he became mentally disturbed. He wandered about in many places. One day he set off and never came back. His whereabouts are unknown.

The second son Kuncherichan married THRESIAAMMA of PULIKEE-KALATHIL from Muttar and settled in the Elambrakottu homestead itself. He had nine daughters named ACCHAAMMA, MARIAKUTTY, EETHAMMA, KUNJAMMA, FRANCISKAAMMA, LILLYKUTTY, BABYKUNJU, CELINAAMMA and JOSEKUTTY. He also had two sons APPACHAN and THOMMACHAN.

Kuncherichan lived to a very old age. He died in his eighty second year of birth during the month of May in the year 1975. He was laid to rest in the cemetery at Kavalam church.

Kuncherichan's eldest son Appachan served in the defence forces for a long time. He married ACCHAAMMA of PUTHENPURAYIL (KAA-KKARA-PADICKAL) house from Pulincunnu. They settled in Elambrakottu. They had a troubled marriage. They did not have any children. His wife died of illness. For a long time he lived a bachelor before he married an orphan from a convent. His wife's name was KUNJAMMA. From that alliance they had a son named JIJU who was very intelligent and good in studies. He is employed abroad. He married DONNY daughter of KATTU-VALLY JOSE of Kainady. They at present (2020) have one daughter.

Kuncherichan's younger son Thommachan after his education left home in search of a job and new pastures. Thommachan never came back. His whereabouts are unknown.

Kuncherichan’s eldest daughter ACCHAAMMA was married to SEBASTIAN of Polackal family from Changanacherry. They have seven children.

1. Annieamma married to Ittoopachan of Ettumaanoorkaran family from Mutuchira.

2. Tharamma (Sr.Madonna) CMC BLT. She is the Head Mistress of St.Joseph's High School as of now (2020).

3. Maathachan married Rossamma of Thevalakkara family.

4. Josephkunju setted in Madurai.

5. Kunjappan married Alice of Ettumannoorkaaran family.

6. Georgekunju is a Professor of Chemitry in SB College, Changanacherry. He is married to Alice. They have two children. Both are Doctors and working in Changanacherry (2020).

7. Devasiachan married Lucyaamma. They have two children.

Kuncherichan’s second daughter MARIAKUTTY was married to KUTTICHAN of Kallolickal Cheruvally family from Manimala. They have two children.

1. Josekunju is an hermit and is unmarried.

Kuncherichan’s third daughter EETHAMMA was married to KUNJTHOMMACHAN of Thyyil family from Edappady, Pala. He is working in FACT. They are settled in Manjummel, Ernakulam now (2020). They have four children.

1. Cherian

2. Kuncheria married Valsamma from Athirampuzha. He had blood cancer and died at an early age.

3. Treasamma became a nun. She is now the Mother Superior at SH Convent in Kanjirapally (2020). She is also working as a professor at St.Dominic's College, Kanjirapally.

4. Kuttaamma is married and settled in Murikkasserry, Idukki. One of their son is a priest.

Kuncherichan’s fourth daughter KUNJAMMA was married to KUNJAPPAN of Kakkanadu family from Ayymanam, Kottayam. They have one daughter named Rosily married to Lobo from Changanacherry. They are involved in Tourism.

Kuncherichan’s fifth daughter FRANCISKAAMMA was married to the Kinattinkara family from Chenganda, Cherthala. They have five children named VAKKACHAN, KUNJAPPAN, THANKACHAN, SALI and MARYKUTTY.

Kuncherichan’s sixth daughter LILLYKUTTY married PAUL of Cheriyathundathil family from Changanacherry. They have four daughters

1. Gracykutty married to Mannoor, Kattappana.

2. Valsamma married to Vennaali family from Changanacherry.

3. Annieamma married from Paayippaadu.

4. Celineamma is working at a retreat center in Kottayam. One of her children, namely, Josphkunju, retired as the Vice Principal of MA Engineering College, Kothamangalam. He then worked as the Principal of VJCET Engineering College, Vazhakulam till 2020.

Kuncherichan’s seventh daughter ROSSAMMA was married to KUNJACHAN of Pulickal family from Changanacherry. They have three children.

1. Sony is a LIC Employee and is married to Lysa who is employed in Canara Bank now (2020)

2. Bobby is an Engineer working in Banglore (2020)

3. Tony is working with a priest who runs a charitable institution which deals with kidney donations

Kuncherichan’s eighth daughter CELINE was married to CHACKOCHAN of Pallyparambil Thottumadom family from Punnappara, Alappuzha. They have three children.

1. Declavous is an engineer and is working in ISRO, Trivandrum. He married from Paaramundayil family.

2. Joseph is a Lawyer. He completed his LLB and entered politics. He is the state President of KSU.

3. Kuriakose is a journalist.

Kuncherichan’s ninth daughter JOSEPHINE was married to P.M.VARGHESE of Puthenparambil family from Pulincunnu.

1. Mariamma (Beena) married from Edathuva

2. Kochuthresiamma was married to Chakrapurackal Shaju of Kaanjuparambil family.

3. Ousepachan is an Engineer and is working in Sharja now (2020). He married Delphymol of Kumaramthara family from Ettumannoor. They have three children named Southy, Richy, and Grace.

Ousepachan's third son CHERIACHAN married KARIPPASSERRY (Aashaariparambil,Chittadi) MARIYAAMMA from Kavalam. He moved from Elambrakottu and settled in the property KAALASSERY near Kannady church. He build a house there and lived with his family. He was different in character from all the other family members. He was a man of conviction, very stubborn and obstinate. He was opinionated and heeded no one. Cheriachan lived as an atheist for many years. He used to litigate on the smallest provocation. He was also much more well off than all his brothers. He also bought properties on his own, other than what he inherited. He died in the year 1967 and was buried in the cemetery at Kavalam church.

A big chunk of the history of this family was recorded by Cheriachan. He kept a note book full of snippets of his contemporary family members and their elders.

Cheriachan's only son KOCHUKURIAN drowned when he was five years old. He had four daughters. They were named THANKAMMA, EETHAMMA, MARIAMMA, and ACCHAAMMA.

Thankamma was married off to MATHACHAN of PANACKAL family from Mutholy, Pala. They have two children, Saalimma and Molly.

The elder Saalimma became nun in the Clarist Convent. She is at present (2020) the mother of Clara Convent in Paava. She is also a teacher in St.Mary’s High School there

The younger daughter was married to Sebastian. They are settled in Delhi. They have two children. The elder son Vijay Sebastian is an engineer and is working in USA(2020). The younger daughter is working in Hyderabad(2020).

EETHAMMA was a school teacher. She was married off to OUSEPACHAN of MURICKAN (Paandithuruthel) family from Muttuthara, Cherthala. They have two children SHERLY and ALEX.

SHIRLEY is married to JOEYCHAN of Vadakkekalathil family from Pulincunnu. ALEX is an Engineer(2020).

MARIAMMA was a Government School teacher. She was married off to MALEAMPURACKAL (M.C.JOSEPH) Kunjeepachan of Pulincunnu. They have three children, TONY, RANI and JOJI.

TONY married MERLIN of Kaalaserry family from Kainakari. They have two children, RIA and JOE. Ria is doing her MCA and Joe is studying for Engineering (2020).

RANI was married to MARTIN of Chathamparambil family from Pulincunnu. He is a business man and they are settled in Perumbavoor. They have three children, CICILY, MARIA and ANN. Cicily is a LLB student in Christ college in Banglore(2020), Maria is doing her B.Com degree course in Christ college in Banglore(2020). Ann is a school student in Angamaly(2020).

JOJI is working in Singapore and is married to JESSY of Rathapally family from Pothanickadu, Kothamangalam. They have two children MILEN and ACCHAMMA. Both are school students in Singapore now (2020)

ACCHAAMMA was a school teacher in Changanacherry. She was a Physical Education teacher. She was married off to P.T.DEVASIA (KUNJACHAN) of Puthuserry family from Changanacherry. He was a B.Com graduate. He was a Post Master in the P&T Department. He retired when he was working at the Changanacherry Post Office. They are both retired. Kunjachan died on 28^th November, 2019. They have two children, RAJU and RANI.

RAJU the elder of the two children did his diploma in Computer Engineering and started his own business in Ernakulam. He runs his own enterprise ‘Impressive Systems’. He married JEENA daughter of V.T. Thomas of Arrimattom family from Kottayam. She did her MSc, Bed and NET and is now (2020) a Plus Two teacher at the Kaanakkary Government High School. They have a son ABISHEK who is in the 10^th Standard now (2020)

RANI finished her MCA and is married to BOBBY MATHEW son of Mathukutty of Kurushummoodu family from Changanacherry. She is at present (2020) working in a university in Kuwait. Bobby is doing business in Kuwait. They have a son who is studying in the 4^th Standard now (2020).

KURIAN, the fourth son of Elambrakottu Ousepachan died when he was doing his graduate studies. He was doing his B.A. in St.Thomas College in Trichur. He was a very good football player. While playing, the ball hit his chest very hard and damaged his lungs. He died of complications arising from that affliction of the lungs in his 24^th year. N.X. Kurian and N.J. Mathew (Mavely) were of the same age and they were close friends too.

The youngest son of Elambrakottu Ousepachan, APPACHAN was working in Malaya when the Second World War broke out. He joined the INA (Indian National Army) of Subash Chandra Bose. With the defeat of Japan and the death of Subash Chandra Bose the INA splintered. Appachan had to leave behind all his wealth and savings in Malaya. He stowed abroad a freighter and came to India.

JOSEPH Was Lieutenant of I.N.A, (Lieutenant J. E prokot) Supreme Command Head Qtrs and also Japanese interpreter of Subash Chandra Bose. Worked as Vice Principle of Anglo-Chinese Methodist School at Kuala Lampur, Malayasia before joining I.N.A. Took part in The Second World War, received 'Thamra Pathra' from Honourable Prime Minister at 15 Aug. 1972 from late Mrs. Indra Gandhi. Settled in Trissur, actively involved in Kerala Congress Party (undivided) activities. Was elected as the General Secretary of the Party, Trissur district. Passed away on Feb/ 29/ 1988.

He married VELU-THA MANNI-NGAL ANNIE PETERS from Trichur on 14th February 1955. He engaged himself in many enterprises but none of them were very successful. Later he left Kuttanadu and settled in Trichur. There he worked as a teacher. He had four children two girls and two boys named MARYKUTTY, BEENA, JOMON (JOY) and TOMMY.

MARYKUTTY (PRIYA) was married off to E. JOHN JACOB (PRADEEP) of E-RU-THI-KKAL from Pallam, Kottayam. They have a daughter DIVYA ANN JACOB. Both Priya and Pradeep have passed away.

DIVYA ANN JACOB is a software engineer and is now (2020) working at Infosis, Trivandrum NOW (2021). She is married to BITTU KURIAN. He is the son of Late Kurian Ninan and Molly Kurian of NADAVALLIL family from Mavelikara. Bittu is also a software engineer. He is working at Visual Graphics Company, Trivandrum NOW (2021).

TOMMICHEN JOSEPH (TOMMY) of Elamprakot (Ettuparayil), Moorkanikkara, Trissur. He married CHIRRA-MMEL MINNI daughter of Varghese of Chiramel family from Arnaa-ttu-kara, Trissur. He is settled in Trissur and is doing business. He has three boys named TOJO, TOBY and TONY.

TOJO TOM JOSEPH is a network engineer in WIPRO now (2021).
