Not every project or assignment in life works in perfect conjunction or has members that work together effectively. The assignment below is part of an ongoing project where we are asked to put together a development plan for an area in College Station, Texas.
We were not sure how to go about deciding what would need to put on this piece of property. We each had different idea of what we felt would be the best use and how we should go about putting together the site plan. After several days of arguing we sat down and worked together to come up with a plan. We realized that we each had a different set of skills and that we could use our diverse talents to create something of great value. I conducted a site visit and looked up local laws and regulations regarding detention zoning ordinances. The other two students had talents on navigating excel formulas and graphic design. We each handled our assigned tasks and manged to put together a project that was lawful, financially feasible, and beautifully depicted. This project was an excellent example of what good communication can do for the success of a project.
