PROPOSE TOOL: Berkeley Emotional Intelligence at Work Free Online Course Mindfulness Training

Triggers:

    • ANGER not an “” acceptable” emotion vs Anxiety “anticipated” emotion.

    • EMPATHY seen as a vulnerable concept that needs to be explained to Administration and Staff as a needed concept.

KARPMAN TRIANGLE Theory accepted as a possible model.

Outside View Perspective:

    • Abandonment from system/society reignites deep rooted attachment issues..

    • PTSD from war zone-death levels-trauma-vicarious trauma

    • Lack of self worth. Self worth attached to hyper productivity.

    • Lack of choice/freedom and safety.

    • Inability to perform at a high level,perform high level medecine.

    • Fear of or inability/unwillingness to express vulnerability/gratitude.

    • Fear of requesting help,as seeing themselves as the ones who need help.

PROPOSE TOOL: Emotions Wheel for staff to carry. Allows for reflection and ability to identify and tune in with a range of emotions instead of using Anger as a blanket emotion.
