Description

Design and construction management of a new corporate office complex, cafeteria and associated parking, occupied by design and administrative personnel for the new Boeing 777 aircraft and all Boeing Everett executives. The building office floors surround open core and atrium areas, enhancing the employee working environment. Communication between personnel is strengthened by vertical transportation from escalators and elevators, plus pedestrian bridges between the two towers. Cooling, electrical and data systems meet “saturation” levels to accommodate the high quantity of personal computers in use. The facility acts as a “gateway” to the 1,000 acre Everett campus, as all customers, suppliers and vendors access the site from this complex.

• Office complex, cafeteria and associated parking areas spread over 49 acre site
• Six 150,000 square foot floors in each of two office buildings; four office floors and two parking garage floors in each office building

• Maximum occupancy of 8,000 people
• Over 14,000 tons of steel fabricated and erected
• Over 500,000 cubic yards of earth removed and placed in “sink hole” to form new parking area
• 70,000 cubic yards of concrete placed for retaining walls and complex floors
• 400 miles of fiber optic cable installed with over 12,000 end terminations completed and tested
