Description
Provide due diligence on national properties from technical, financial, and schedule perspectives, determining property feasibility for developing correctional facilities. Provide recommendations to executive level regarding potential purchase of properties. Upon feasibility approval of a site, manage creation of onsite and offsite development drawings, costs and timeframes for specific Bureau Of Prisons or State Requests for Proposal.
Schedule
Initial property analyses range from two to six months; Generation of development/proposal drawings, costs and schedules range from one to three months
Budget
Property costs range from “no cost” (property provided by a city/community) to several million dollars. Typical offsite development costs range from “no cost” (utilities and access provided by city/community) to ~ $2M. Onsite development costs depend upon the inmate occupancy type (dorm vs. cell) and inmate count, and can reach upwards of $250M with a full build-out supporting 4,000 inhabitants
