Description

Construction Project Management for a new financial center in the Dominican Republic, which will provide trading, settlement, clearing, custody, investment, and banking services. The new development tentatively includes such improvements as roadway/rail/bus transportation systems, independent water/sewer/power services, office buildings, hotel, convention center, retail space, health care facility, fire/security facility, marina, airport and housing – a new self sustained city.

Schedule

Master Planning – October 2005 through March 2007; Design 2007 through 2009; Construction 2008 through 2010

$1 Billion for planning, design and construction

• Working population of up to 11,000 personnel
• 7,000 acre site available for development; Development requires 500 acres
• Buildings – Offices comprising 3 Million SF; 6 story 250,000 SF hotel with 350 rooms; Retail space of 25,000 SF; Convention Center of 200,000 SF; Airport of 50,000 SF
• Transportation – 4 miles of new roadway; Parking for 3,000 cars; Bus Station and 20 buses; 7,000 LF runway
• Energy – 6,000 kW power service; 2,000 kW emergency generator; 12,000 Ton chilling capacity; 16,000 Ton cooling tower capacity; 500,000 gallon fuel tank
• Utility Distribution – 4 to 6 miles each for water, sewer, storm, phone, electrical and gas
