Description

Design and construction of a two-story modular and temporary office complex to be utilized by 747 and 767 airplane planners for an undetermined period of time. The building incorporated all Boeing design requirements and blended aesthetically with its surroundings, while being designed/erected under extreme fast-track conditions due to immediate occupancy requirements.

Schedule

Two months for design and three months for construction

Budget

$240,000 for design; Construction/Assembly costs included in monthly lease program for modules

Statistics

• 80,000 SF two-story building with restroom facilities, receiving area, and data/electrical rooms
• Construction included assembly of 96 individual modules, 48 modules per floor
• Modules pre-finished at factory under controlled environmental conditions, similar to a mobile home
