All Feelings Welcome
All feelings are welcome and invited to the empathy circle to be heard and empathized with. If you are feeling depressed, fearful, hopeless, etc. these feelings are welcome as are feelings of joy, hopefulness, happiness, etc. So a culture of empathy invites all feelings to be openly shared. For example, some groups may only want to hear positive expressions and any painful feelings are to be suppressed, however, in the empathy circle all feelings are welcome.

A culture of empathy has an awareness and sensitivity to felt experience. Identifying, naming and expressing feelings as a speaker, as well as the listener being sensitivity to their own felt experience and that of the speaker,
