Driving Directions*

• 1. from Boulder, take Broadway south

  2. continue once Broadway turn into South Foothills Highway

  3. turn right onto Eldorado Springs Drive

  4. follow the road to the South Mesa Trailhead

     • on the right side of the road

Hiking Directions*

• 1. from the trailhead, take the trail across South Boulder Creek

  2. take either the Towhee or Homestead trail

  3. after the above two trails merge, continue to follow them

  4. the trail will merge with Shadow Canyon South

     • follow it west

  5. this will eventually merge with Shadow Canyon trail

     • follow it north west

  6. the trail will eventually come to a 'T' 

     • turn left and follow South Boulder Peak trail

  7. summit South Boulder Peak

  8. return
