Mount Sherman is an inviting peak that seems eager to be conquered. Indeed, the peak is easily viewed from South Park and US 285. From From Leavick one must only gain a little over 2,000 ft. in elevation, much of which is gained by climbing gentle slopes.
Interestingly, Sherman is the only fourteener that has had an aircraft land on top of it.
Mount Sherman - 14,036 ft.
