Hi there! My name is Andrew Flynn and, as you've probably guessed from even the briefest scan of this site, I'm an avid lover of the outdoors and do my best to get out and explore as much as I can. What you might not know is that I am also a trained biologist, ardent homebrewer, and newly minted cyclist. Growing up in Colorado (yep, I'm proud of my Native status), I was exposed to everything it had to offer. My years at CU Boulder crystallized my love of the outdoors and I've made it a priority to spend as much of my free time engaging in any sort of outdoor activity I can get access to.
I hiked my first fourteener way back in late elementary school (Mount Bierstadt), but my true fourteener adventure began back in 2010 when my oldest friend, my dog, and I hiked up Grays and Torreys. My ultimate goal is to successfully summit all of Colorado's peaks above 14,000 ft (ranked and unranked).
Why, you ask? This is a question that I haven't troubled myself with very much - I simply love the challenges and rewards of bagging these peaks.
