The Court Office is closed on public holidays.
Two Public Holidays occurring in Trinidad and Tobago stand to be appointed from year to year pursuant to section 3(2) of thePublic Holidays and Festivals Act, Chap. 19:05 - Divali and Eid-ul-Fitr. They are not reflected on the calendar above. The Court Office is not open on these days.
Section 3(2) of the Public Holidays and Festivals Act, Chap. 19:05 provides that where a public holiday falls on a Sunday or where two public holidays fall on the same day, the next following day that (apart from that section) is not a public holiday shall be a public holiday.
