The parties are required to help the court to further the overriding objective.

In Lennox Ablack v. Herbert Ablack and Ors. CV2007-01019, it was noted that this rule required that technical squabbles be deprecated and that any errors in procedure must be acted upon quickly by parties in order to avoid delay and achieve the overriding objective.
