--(1) Can I join Team Civil Rules TT?
----(a) We are always on the lookout for vibrant and keen individuals eager to volunteer their time and service to maintaining this site. Your commitment of time and energy is always appreciated and goes a long way to ensuring that this site is up-to-date, accurate, comprehensive and published to the highest standard. We encourage anyone that satisfies our eligibility requirements to consider volunteering with us.
--(2) What would I have to do as a volunteer?
----(a) We randomly assign jobs to volunteers based on our team's needs at any given time. All assigned jobs may be accepted or rejected by the volunteer. We will try our best to assign and/or re-assign tasks which a volunteer is likely to be willing to perform and capable of performing. Assigned tasks may include (1) proof-reading a selection of pages, (2) checking syntax and validity of links, (3) scanning of supporting documents, (4) moderating comments pages, (5) reaching out to potential advertisers, (6) sorting feedback and (7) "clipping" cases.
--(3) Will I get paid?
----(a) No.
--(4) Will I be given a certificate of participation that I can include on my resume?
----(a) All of our volunteers will be issued a digital certificate in respect of each completed assigned period. Do with this what you will.
--(5) Am I eligible to be a volunteer?
----(a) Our volunteers must meet the following eligibility requirements:
At least 18 years of age;
A citizen of Trinidad and Tobago;
An attorney-at-law registered on the Rolls of the Supreme Court of Judicature in good standing with the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago;
Proficient in English with good oral and written communication skills;
Proficient in the use of electronic text editors and the internet;
Good interpersonal skills;
Willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement relative to the operation, structure and layout of this site; and
Willing to receive regular instructions via e-mail.
--(6) Will my attendance be required at particular locations if I volunteer?
----(a) Generally, no. Some tasks do require you to establish contact with third-parties who may insist on your physical presence. Volunteers are free to accept or reject such invitations in their own discretion.
