Pumi people's house is made of wood with walls built by piled round woods, a square pole erected and a shrine placed inside. Bamboo is a guardian god of the Pumi people. Bamboo Box made by thin bamboo stripes are precious gifts on Pumi wedding ceremony, funeral, traditional festivals and other traditional activities. This emblem is made of Pumi Bamboo Box and traditional painting pattern on the wall of Pumi house. The symbolic meanings are auspiciousness, friendship, sacredness and felicity.
普米族人的房屋为木结构,四周墙壁用圆木重叠垛成,屋内立方柱、设神龛。竹子是普米族的保护神,篾盒是普米族婚丧嫁娶、节日等诸多民俗活动的贵重馈赠礼品。由篾盒与木垛房墙壁花纹组成的图案,象征吉祥、友爱、神圣和幸福。
