This emblem was designed by an ethnic Lisu Chinese designer. Crossbow is a traditional hunting tool of Lisu man. Lisu men often compete in crossbow shooting and exchange crossbows with each other to enhance their friendships. Lusu’s fire pit is the center of family activities. It is also a sacred place. The steel tripod used to hold a steel pan is deemed to be a guardian spirit of the family. It carries the meaning of stability, peace, purity, etc. Shell is an ornament of Lisu woman. It carries the meaning of beauty and civility. This emblem consisting of crossbow, fire pit and shell embodies represents the harmony between man and woman, unity and peace, and hardworking and wisdom.
弩是傈僳族男子的传统狩猎工具,赛刀比弩,互相赠弩,有比赛射击、增进友情等多种寓意。傈僳族的火塘是家庭活动的中心,也是神圣的场所。架设铁锅的铁三角是傈僳族的家庭保护神,有稳定、平安、纯洁之意蕴。贝壳是女性装饰物,表示美丽端庄。弩、铁三角和贝壳所组成的图案表示男女和合,勤劳智慧,团结平安。
