City Planning Commission / Delaware Golf Club

Cheshire Crossing (CC) Residents, especially those in Cheshire Crossing-West, it has come to the attention of the CC HOA Board that the City of Delaware Planning Commission is meeting on January 20 at 7:00 PM and may feature, as an item agenda, the presentation of Ron Sabatino’s (owner of Delaware Golf Club) most recent concept plan for commercial and residential development of the Rte. 23 frontage and areas well up the hill to the East of the Rte. 23 frontage. The formal agenda for the Jan 20 meeting will not be known until the Friday prior, when the Planning Commission’s agenda will be firmed up. As such, we do not yet know for certain whether Mr. Sabatino will be making a presentation to the Planning Commission on that date – we do know that Mr. Sabatino has indicated to City of Delaware officials that he wishes to present his plan at that meeting. The meeting will, we understand, be open to the public, but it is important to note that it is at the sole discretion of the Planning Commission as to whether to solicit public comment on any concept plan Mr. Sabatino may present that evening.

We just wanted you to know and if you desire you could attend this meeting. The Board has no other information to share at this time, and we really have no way of answering questions. Of course if we learn more, we will share.
