Annual Meeting Results

The Annual Meeting was held on April 3, 2017 from 6-8PM. Justin Brenner was re-elected for a three-year term. The Board shared the following accomplishments for the 2016-2017 year:

• • Worked with committee to establish storage guidance document

  • Replaced pine trees along common area property

  • Established a “friendly reminder” letter for first violations

  • Worked with city to clean up debris dumping near water tower

  • Winding Valley (WV) Park repair and addition

  • Held community garage sale

  • Worked with city to maintain and trim street trees

  • Created street tree guidance document

  • Worked with committee to establish lawn maintenance guidance

  • Established mailbox guidance document and allowed more color options

  • Used volunteers to spread mulch at WV Park

  • Added outdoor outlets near park for future events & Block Party

  • Hosted the Summer Block Party and added bounce houses

  • Partnered with City on Crosswalk project on Cheshire Rd.

  • Many attempts made to request that WOW! Cable fix lawn issues

  • Held Open Forum for Owners at the quarterly Board meetings

  • Kept website up-to-date at www.cheshirecrossing.org

  • Replaced pond fountain and had pond professionally treated

  • Passed two Amendments allowing more flexibility for mailboxes and signage.

  • Passed an Amendment allowing sheds

  • Created and updated shed guidelines

  • Created a shed application form

  • Had repairs made to entrance lighting system (may need to replace aged system)

  • HOA Manager completed all inspections and maintained more consistent enforcement

  • Worked with city on option to provide pet waste bags to owners on city light poles

  • Held annual Holiday Lights contest

  • Began mailing quarterly statements

  • Created mini newsletter to be sent with quarterly statements
