I make jewelry because I love to wear it. I make jewelry because I love the design and creation process! Searching out, buying, and working with beautiful, colorful beads makes me happy. Most important, I love to make things that can be used. I'm certainly not knocking purely ornamental artwork (I do that too) but I get a real sense of satisfaction at the end of a jewelry project when I can do something with my creation. Jewelry is fun to wear and it makes great gifts. I may not choose to wear all the jewelry I make but the point is... it's reassuring to know I could!
