My name is Mark Vanstone and Carpebble is a play on my surname.I am a geology graduate and secondary school science teacher based in Cornwall, UK. I have recently been spending a lot of time processing data from Raspberry Shake seismometers. My main camera is a Canon 6D and I enjoy dabbling in HDR photography - using Luminance HDR, and panoramic photography - using Hugin. My main image editor is the GIMP and I have a panoramic tripod, which I used to use with a Canon 1000D for creating 360x180 degree panoramas.
