Welcome to our Math Homepage. In this link, you'll find useful information about our Math class. We will be posting projects as they are assigned. Daily homework is under your child's homeroom homework website.
Homework is assigned on a daily basis and corrected in class. It is very important that students are fluent with their multiplication and division facts 1-12 in order to master new concepts in 5th grade. Tests and performance tasks are given after the completion of each chapter. Students will also take a trimester benchmark to assess their retention of skills. Coursework will include quizzes, tests, performance tasks, and bench mark assessments. Student grades will be determined on how well they meet each standard criteria.
Grading Scale for 5th:
97% to 100% = 4
75% to 96% = 3
60% to 74% = 2
0% to 59% = 1
