Element Brochure Assignment
In this assignment, you will create your own (computer generated) six-sided brochure for a chemical element of your choosing. Your brochure must function as an advertisement, demonstrating how wonderful your element is. The brochure MUST include the following:
1.) Provide a detailed description of what the element looks like, with labeled pictures showing its uses.
2.) Provide the symbol, atomic number, and atomic weight.
3.) What state your element is found in (solid, liquid, or gas), and telling us whether your element is a metal or nonmetal.
4.) Provide the date your element was discovered, what it's density is, and any other interesting facts.
**5.) What other element can your element be combined with to create a new product? What would our world be like if we did not have your element or combined element?
**6) Bibliography
You may use the any text resource (textbook, encyclopedia, resource book, computer encyclopedia) or search the internet. MANY sites are available for help with project in the Resource Center. Please note that YOU MUST cite your resources and all work MUST be in YOUR WORDS. Below you will find a Brochure Template that you may print and a Guide to Writing a Bibliography (MLA Style).
