Welcome back to our Bear Family! We are so pleased to begin another fantastic school year with you!A few important reminders:
- Early Thursdays: School ends one hour earlier each Thursday afternoon, to accomodate contractual teacher planning time. Students MUST be picked up promptly at 1:12pm on Thursdays, if they are not participating in the after school program.
- School uniforms: We are a uniform school. Our uniform is navy or white top; with navy, denim, or khaki bottoms. If your child is in need of uniforms, visit our Student Support Center, on the soccer field.
- Back to School Night: Save the date for Wednesday, September 21st, as we will host our annual Back to School Night event! Look for more information to come home with students as the event nears.
- Attendance: Consistent attendance at school is CRITICAL for your child's success. Missing as little as 10% of classtime has been shown to impact academic achievement and even drop-out rates. If your child is not feeling well but does NOT have a fever, please send him/her to school. If your child is too ill to attend school, please call the office at 916-277-6261 to be sure that the absence is excused.
