A Description of the Cards

The Langer Deck is an oracle deck that uses images found in Lenormand cards with additional images and coordinates them with the meanings and symbols of all 54 standard playing cards.

The Suits

The suits in the deck represent four common concerns of daily living.

Hearts = relationships, Clubs = Well-being and health,  Diamonds = resources and wealth, Spades = work and hobbies


The Numbers

Each of the numbers represents a part of the path of birth, awareness, and renewal.

1= source, 2 = change, 3 = creation, 4 = foundation, 5 = loss, 6 = learning, 7 = mystery, 8 = rebirth, 9 = completion, 10 = commitment

The Court Cards

Each of the court cards represent specific personalities.

The Jokers

Each of the Jokers represent an ending or a beginning.

Images

Each card has a simple image on  it to encourage exploration. The images used are standard images of most Lenormand oracle decks with nine additional images.
