 23/03/2018 Rosewood Rosewood  have been performers on the folk scene for some years who are based in East Anglia. They sing and play traditional and contemporary songs and instrumentals, some of which they have written themselves. Their unique features are the variety of their source material and the range of instruments they play. Depending on venues these may include bandoneon, hammered dulcimer, bagpipes, bouzouki, concertina and deskbells. £7
 13/04/2018 Mark Dowding Mark has been involved in folk clubs and festivals (playing and organising) since the early 80s. He has an extensive knowledge of a great number of folk songs especially by Harry Boardman and has a CD dedicated to his songs while another CD is consists solely of 19th century Manchester ballads.  He plays guitar, banjo and concertina. £7
 04/05/2018 Fraser Nimmo Fraser Nimmo is a Scottish singer, songwriter and actor who combines traditional songs with his own material in an organic melange of Celtic musicality. His songs cover the whole gamut of human experience and are delivered with flair, wit, compassion and serious digital dexterity on guitar and banjo. £7
 18/05/2018 Maggie Holland   "She performed the songs of Hank Williams and Bob Dylan as if she'd composed them herself, sang traditional English ballads unaccompanied, played authentic old-time banjo, and yodelled like Jimmie Rogers with a Hampshire accent. She also writes some of the best songs you're ever likely to hear (but doesn't like to go on about it). Do please come and see her."  Stephen Hunt, Bodmin Folk Club secretary. £7
 15/06/2018 Les Barker Les Barker writes strange poems and comes from originally from Manchester, but he's now Welsh. He was an accountant before he became a professional idiot. He's written 85 books, which sell in large numbers at his gigs because people don't quite believe what they've just heard.

 None! Those who have seen them know what to expect. Those who haven't might catch a couple of youtube clips but no webpages online. All we do know is that for this visit there will be all new material!
 20/07/2018 Jez Lowe Award-winning songwriter Jez Lowe has stepped out of his long-held role as a singer, songwriter and instrumentalist to complete his debut novel, entitled “The Dillen Doll”. To accompany this, his first novel, he has recorded a suite of Tyneside folksongs, a forty-five minute, continuous piece, with fifteen newly-arranged ballads, many of which are referenced within the story. Is there nothing this man can't do?

 Since being a finalist in 2012 for BBC Young Folk Award he has impressed many with his songs and fingerpicking blues style. Recently he has produce a CD of Buddy Holly songs so we may get a real mixture at the club.
 02/11/2018 Fil Campbell and Tom McFarland Together Fil and Tom play and sing a mix of original, traditional and contemporary Irish songs with occasional nods back to the popular Irish folk songs they grew up with. Their set is full of fun and banter and Fil’s passion is to get everyone singing so there are always lots of choruses, so be prepared! £7
