Sept 15 2018 Fall Lewis Shoot Results

The Big 4+ Sportsman's Club held their annual autumn trap shoot at their clubhouse in Long Lake on Saturday, September 15. There were 2 events, a 50-Bird Lewis Class shoot and meat shoots. Shooters enjoyed a beautiful sunny fall day. There were 39 entries in the 50-Bird Lewis shoot. The shoot paid out 5 classes, with the winner of each class receiving $54. Ties were broken by sudden-death shoot offs. The class winners and their scores were Mark McHugh (Newald) with 50, LeRoy Dorzok (Tipler) with 48, Bill Kramer (Lena) with 47, Bill Simonar (Denmark) with 44 and Dan Vertz (DePere) with 40. There was also a consolation prize for scores under 35. Tom Prevost and Larry Larson split the $40 purse. Lewis Class shooters could also enter the Options competitions. Each option paid out $48 after a successful shoot off. Ed Borske (Alvin) won 25 on Trap 1 and High Gun, and Bill Simonar (Denmark) won 25 on Trap 2. Kayla McHugh (Newald) won the Ladies High Gun Purse. Congratulations to all the winners.
