The Big 4+ Sportsman's Club held their annual autumn trap shoot at their clubhouse in Long Lake on Saturday, September 21. There were 2 events, a 50-Bird Lewis Class shoot and a meat shoot. Despite a cold and drizzly day, there were 56 entries in the 50-Bird shoot. The shoot paid out 5 classes and the winner of each class won $78.40. Ties were broken by sudden-death shoot-offs. The class winners and their scores were Ed Borske (Alvin) with 50, Buddy Schaut (Mountain) with 47, Sue Bouck (Amherst Junction) with 45, Jerry Werner (Racine) with 44 and Brian Ebert (Franksville) with 42. There was also a consolation prize for scores under 38. Kayla McHugh (Newald) survived a 5-string shoot-off to win $56. Lewis Class shooters could also enter for High Gun, Long Run and 25 on each trap. Each option paid $74 and ties were broken by sudden-death shoot-offs. Ed Borske won 25 on Trap 1 and High Gun with his 50. Bill Lutze (Franksville) won 25 on Trap 2. Russ Bouck (Amherst Junction) won Long Run with his 50.

The Big 4+ would like to thank everyone who helped to make the event a success, with a special thanks to the volunteers who worked that day.
