Testimonial (with David Skinn) 70/1 and again 77/8. Player coach at Wootton from start 79/80, later became player manager in sucession to Alan Wright. At Kempston (as player) again December 82 (re-signed by Wright after he rejoined club). At Sharnbrook 2/84, to Raunds (rejoining Alan Wright again) summer 84. Notes Scottish FA Cup finalists’ medal with Clyde 49. Cricket for Beds 53-55. Said at the time he played for BTFC to be a SA international, but in fact appears not to have played in a full international but only in a representative XI v Clyde during their tour of SA in 1947. Also managed Sydney Olympic FC, bringing them to play a friendly at The Eyrie in November 1980. Retired to the Gold Coast, Queensland where he died on 9 Nov 2005.
