Biryani Rice

This recipe uses a Biryani spice premix made by Ambika

Instructions

1. Soak 1 cup of white rice in water for 30 minutes.

2. Dice 2/3 cup of paneer or tofu and fry. 

3. Fry a small/medium chopped onion and 2 cloves of garlic.

4. Add rice from step 1 and 5g of Ambika Biryani Masala to a large pot and mix well.

5. Add 2 and 3 to the rice in 4, then add twice as much water as the rice.

6. Cover with a tight lid and steam until the water evaporates. 

7. Cook until it's fluffy when you stir it with a fork and it's ready.

Makes 3 cups of cooked Biryani rice
