Questions: Give you a framework for the answer

The way we ask questions gives us a framework for the answer.
If someone asks us to describe an event they would like to know the facts:
Where it happened
When it happened
Who was involved
What happened
Sometimes you have more facts that can help explain:
How
For example:
How often did it happen?
How did they get there?
If you have even more understanding you can also answer:
Why
For example:
If you see a stranger rushing by on your way to school you can answer Where, When, Who, What and How about what you saw but you don't know Why they are rushing by.
However if you see a friend you know well rushing by on your way to school you might be able to explain Why they were rushing....
