Students will work in self-selected groups of three to carefully plan and create a short stop-motion video production using either cut paper or claymation techniques. Proper planning is expected. Green screen will be used for the background. Appropriate titles, credits and audio must be included in the final video submission.
Students will create their own groups of three and choose either to plan and record either a paper cut or claymation video.
Students will carefully develop a plot or action that will be explored in their creation where the character(s) will break the fourth wall and interact with or acknowledge the audience.
Appropriate planning must be documented.
Generate / Acquire any necessary props.
Record / acquire appropriate audio tracks for inclusion in your production.
Appropriate recording technology will be used to record all footage.
The final production will be display at 6 frames per second and must play for at least 10 seconds with a maximum of 60 seconds.
Each member will get a copy of all footage and use video editing software to generate their production.
Use the editing software to add and sequence all images and audio. Adjust the volumes as appropriate.
Save your recording as with an appropriate filename.
When you are completely done export the final video.
Submit all planning and the video.
