Students work with a partner to plan, script, record and export a 30 second radio advertisement for a local company. An appropriate narrative as well as music and sound effects must be included with appropriate volume levels. All radio advertisements will be heard by the class.
Choose a partner.
Carefully select a local company that would normally advertise on the radio.
Create a folder called "Radio Advertisement" and store all files related to this project in this folder.
Create a neat and organized planning document with your script that includes all necessary information. (TEMPLATE)
Acquire at least 3 appropriate sound effects and a relevant musical soundtrack.
Using Audacity, record your script. Ensure you use your voice(s) appropriately. Reminder: this is a 30 second radio advertisement.
Find and save appropriate audio tracks.
Add and sequence your music and sound effects. Adjust the volumes as appropriate.
Save your recording as RadioAdvertisementByNames.AUP.
When you are completely done export the final sound file as RadioAdvertisementByNames.MP3
Submit your script and your MP3.
