Exercise: Flash 2

Objective

Use Adobe Flash to demonstrate acquired knowledge of the flash tweening skills to tell a simple three scene story. The story must include one or more characters and have some type of adventurous plot.

Steps

  1. Create a folder called FlashExerciseB. Store all files associated with this project in this folder.

  2. Plan an appropriate story using a simple storyboard; carefully consider the time for each of the three scenes. The final production should be between 30 and 45 seconds. [ Planning Document ]

  3. Create a new flash file called firstlast2.fla and make the stage size 500 pixels high and 400 pixels wide and play at 20 fps.

  4. There must be three different backgrounds and your story must use include both motion and shape tweens and include appropriate typography.

  5. Ensure you carefully consider the tween properties: ease, rotation, paths, etc. to enhance the adventure.

  6. Export your file as firstlast2.swf

  7. Submit planning in a neat appropriate form and submit computer files to the folder indicated by your teacher.
