Students will be placed into groups and work together to choose a topic for their documentary. They must use their planning skills to effectively present an idea and support themselves with accurate realistic information with an intended purpose. They will carefully plan and record appropriate footage together but will each create their own version of the documentary with the available video editing software following the production phase.
Create a folder called Documentary and store all files associated with this project in this folder.
Use a collaborative document to share and create all planning.
Students must create and submit a "Treatment" outlining the content and purpose of the documentary as well as including some basic information about how they will accomplish this production.
Submit the Treatment on or before the deadline.
The group must create some type of time management document that they will use to organize the sequence of production elements.
They must also carefully plan and document their production time.
An appropriately formatted script must be created prior to the production phase.
Submit the planning on or before the deadline.
At least one interview with a topic authority must be included in the production.
Record all video footage with their personal or school provided technology.
Download all footage to each persons account.
Each person will edit and create their own version of the documentary with their group planning and the footage they recorded using Adobe Premier.
Out of class time will be needed to complete this project.
Each student must submit their MPG on or before the deadline.
Peer and Self-Evaluations will occur on the final project deadline.

Professional looking credits that proper documents all participants and their roles. Includes appropriate typography and audio. It should be visually similar to the introduction.
