Students work with a partner to plan and create the audio tracks for a 30 or 60 second video as discussed in class. Appropriate dialogue / narration as well as sound effects and musical tracks must be included.
Find and partner.
Create a new folder called "SoundDesign".
Copy the the video provided by the teacher or another appropriate video to the "SoundDesign" folder.
Watch the video and carefully select 30 or 60 seconds of the footage that you wish to create the audio for.
Create a document that will list all the sound effects, dialogue and music that you would like to include in the production. Include some time reference of when the effect will begin. (TEMPLATE)
Acquire the necessary audio and properly document the sources.
Use Audacity and available microphones to record or modify any audio as needed. Ensure you use your voice(s) appropriately for dialogue.
Use Adobe Premier to import and crop your video to 30 or 60 seconds. Delete the native audio if needed. Add and sequence your audio appropriately. Adjust the volumes as needed.
Constantly save your production
When you are completely done export the final video VideoByNames.MPG
Submit the Video and your planning and documentation.
