First light of the STL11000 camera in January 2008, from our observatory in Pozuelo (10 Km from Madrid center). Eight and a half hours of accumulated exposure (multiple 30 min subexposures) through a 7 nm H alpha filter (Baader), using the FSQ106 astrograph. Ionized Hidrogen gas glows (H alpha: 656 nm), in the area of the Cone nebula (NGC 2264). The field is 4 degrees wide.
